Bur Oak

Imagine an acorn as large as a normal sized chestnut with a large hairy cap. This is a burr oak acorn. 

These white oaks are as amazing as all oak trees for wildlife habitat and biodiversity with the added benefit of giant lower tannin acorns. 

If you want to try eating acorns, this is a good one to try with its lower tannins and large size . It's also a great option for a food plot or pig pasture! 

And if you just want a beautiful tree in your front yard this is also a great option. Get a bur oak and plant it. Your descendants will thank you! 

Our seed comes from giant, low tannin acorns from a large tree out of the Hershey plantings in Downingtown, PA.
